VIETNAM VISA REQUIREMENT, INFORMATION and SERVICE
 

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT VIETNAM VISA Only citizens of few countries can visit Vietnam without entry visa (valid for visit within 30 days for Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and 21 days for Japanese, 14 days for Korea), all others require to get the entry visa before departure or pre-approved entry visa (the visa on arrival will be issued at a international airport) before arrival in Vietnam.  The best practice is getting the visa stamped on your passport before the departure by apply to one of the Vietnam Embassy or Consulate in the world. If you want to avoid the long procedure for a visa be approved at a Embassy outside Vietnam (from 4 to 10 days), we can arrange to get the visa approved code service for you, at which you still need to visit our Embassy in a country to get the stamp on your passport. After approval, we will send notification (by fax or attached email) to you and fax the approval to your desired Embassy or Consulate, you then just bring your passport to that Embassy or Consulate to get the visa stamp on your passport on the same day and ready to go to Vietnam.  But in case there is not any Vietnam embassy or Consulate in your country or you just want to visit Vietnam at once on the way you travel, Visa on Arrival is the solution. The Visa on Arrival is the visa be stamped on your passport at Immigration check point in International airport on your arrival at Vietnam. Visa on arrival is a Tourist visa. It is valid for 30 days stay (but extendable after you enter Vietnam) and for single entry only (you cannot use it for multi-entry). To get a visa on arrival you firstly need to apply for a visa permission (Approval letter) at Vietnam Immigration Department in Hanoi.  Our service is to help you getting the Approval letter for getting visa on arrival. Please send us an Email for visa arrangement at: visa@vietnamstay.com b- How it work: Just after receiving your information, we will process the visa immediately, in urgent case the process take only 1 to 2 working days, normal will take 2 to 4 working days. Visa on Arrival: After approved, we also fax or email in attached file to you a copy of Approval letter. Please remember to bring at least 2 photo of passport size. Approval Code Visa: When it is approved, we will fax or email in attached file to you a copy of the Approval letter with code. Then you just go to the Vietnam Embassy or Consulate to get the visa. APPLY FOR A VISA AT A EMBASSY- REQUIREMENT and PROCEDURE Passport of at least 6 months valid. Visa application form. 2 to 3 of 4*6 inch photo  Visa fee: in a range of 50 - 85US$ if applied directly to Embassy or 25-55 US$ if your visa has been pre-approved. This fee depend on Embassy and Type of visa. The visa application form may vary from Embassy to Embassy, so you need to take the form from Embassy where you will get the visa. Submit this form filled with your original passport, 2 or 3 photo, visa fee. If you apply directly to Embassy, your information then be sent to Hanoi for approval, so it take about 4 to 10 days (depend on the country you apply). In case, the Visa is already approved at Immigration Office in Hanoi, it take you only one day. The tourist visa is only for single entry and one month stay, but extendable after you enter Vietnam. Diplomatic, Official visas, Business and other type of visa should be applied through the official agencies or government or business sponsor.
